Nightlife.

Let’s set the scene…

Music thumping through your ribs. You're wedged in a human traffic jam where everyone is dancing, lunging and swerving with no indicators. Drinks fly. Sweat rains from the ceiling. In your hands: a camera with a comically large lens, worth three times your rent.

You move like a ninja waiter carrying a full tray of beers through Oktoberfest in Munich. You have one job: find that precious split second and catch it before it's gone.

I took these photographs to pull you back onto the dance floor: the atmosphere, the chaos, the frenzy, and the feeling that the night is all that matters.

Enjoy these scenes from clubs across the UK, including the floating monument that is Thekla, Bristol.
